i have a kick start problem.kick it down wont come back up.is there a return spring broke.thank you tony

Yes!
Removed the kick start lever and take off the cover, it should be obvious.

It is probably just jammed up
The spring is pretty robust part....I have
never seen a broken one.

They can slip loose from the catch, but your most likely problem is the assembly needs a good greasing. If the cup gear goes dry the whole assembly will stick like none other.

grease the springs, starter idle, and the spindle. had this problem before, just needed to replace grease.
