Yea, probably but that depends on what you want to do, cheaper to put a 63cc and dio gears on a SE then buying a whole gurranteed good and in spec dio motor.

Then yes it would be your best bet to buy a SE50 add a 72cc high speed pulley and dio gears.

the biggest SE50s can go is 63cc. SE50 dont have 72cc avaible. And, on top of that, the SE50 bore kits are starting to get hard to find. not allot of places still have them.

dude, those bore kits are top of the line. Polini is where all the speed is at. On top of that those bore kits are starting to get very rare.

As for that bike. BUY IT! that is infact the first SE50 pipe i have seen for sale in the past 2 years i have been into hondas. VT use to carrie that pipe but they sold up and they dont make them any more.
There is a good chance that is the last pipe for the SE50 you might ever see again.

and on top of that, to cut and weld up a pipe for like a dio would cost just as much, i would buy the stuff, i am tempted just to have it on hand

well, heres the gears. i ended up using the stock SA50 wheel axle, and had the dio gear pressed on. the other gear i put on a lathe and knocked the splines down a little, then pressed the stock SE50 gear on. i had the gears in, and they work. i just found out why my needle stops at the "F" mark on my speedo. theres a lil plastic pin thats stopping it from moving. im ganna try these gears out again on my buddys engine. i really think they will work good cause he has the bore kit and all the other goodies. 8)

let me get this right, if you look at this picture

i would need to order part number 7. Have the gear on it removed, and then press on the new 8.4 (or whatever) gear. Then take the shaft that comes with gear set machined down to take the splines off, and have the stock se50 gear (part 6 in the picture) pressed onto it?

am i on the right track?
