Has anyone gotten the boost bottle to work?
I have done the pulley mod and drilled the holes in the exhaust.
I have holes drille din the air filter box top and the scoot does around 33mph. I am 210lbs and live in Portland OR.
I believe this is a good speed?
IO just would like to be able to get off the line faster.
Thanks a lot!

the plug appears to be a slight bit lean, but nothing to worry about I think.
I was thinking of getting the iridium plug for it. would that help with take off?

no, probably not. iridium plug is made to help if you have a high reving, hooked up engine. Even w/ my stg1 vento I've heard that a iridium plug won't do much. you can give it a shot though, since I haven't tried it personally.

umm yea sry but i dont think you guyz know about boost bottles verry well. the m&m bottle isnt the right size!!!!!!!!! the bottle is size is decided by the deiplacement of the engine... m&m bottle is too small... and its accily not doing enything.

Vette, didn't you try the boost bottle without success?
This has been discussed and researched, read up in this section. You want about 100 - 150 cc for the bottle.
Incidentally, my wife's bottle of mousse comes in a 150ml (150cc) spun aluminum container. Probably the cheapest option for the bottle.

ahhhhhhhh ok now i will put ti this way... a 33cc engine thatkes a 4 inch wide pvc pipe 3/4 of and inch wide.... now you put on the end caps and there you go a 33cc boost bottle... now remember that a boost bottle destoyes you gas mialige... and you can only mount it with the barb comeing out on the bottom of the bootle or else your makeing a bomb... now for a right sized boost bottle for the spree... 50 cc would be a 6 1/2 pice ov 3/4 pvc....

You need 100-150cc. Here's the link to previous discussion:

Darat posted some more research links here. Vette's page actually had some details of his non-working system.
If you drilled your box, you might want to switch to a #68 jet, to start. 33MPH for 210# is not bad, BTW.

This sounds great. i have an extra intake from my parts bike and I would llike to give it a try. Maybe Myspree could tell me how?
This forum has been a great help!
I'll try to post pics of my spree. It's orange and black, diamond plate floor and custom turn signals.
On another note, I was wonderingif when you drill out the exhaust if you should drill all the way through the chambers as far as you can?
Thanks!

Well, let's see some pics and here more details. What volume did you use, length and diameter of pipe to manifold, etc. Pics?
You need a 1/4" bit with at least 6" sticking out of the end of the drill chuck.
