Honda Spree and Elite 50 Forums

i have 3 spree's im going to be restoring over the fall and winter , hopefully in time for next summer . I ll be posting pics and note's on all three of the builds , so any tips or idea you guys got are welcome , help steer me in the right direction

here's the facts on the bike's in order :

bike1 : (mine) 1986 black spree)

starts but wont run , body looks a little rough . its kinda made out of a pile of parts i had

her's run's but dies out after a few minute's ? haha lots of work a head

BIKE3: (my second toy) 1986 red

complete body pretty nice too , but no motor and ive been picking lots of parts of it for now , last on my list ya know

glad to hear it. sounds (and looks) like u have a lot of work ahead of you.lol. 3 more sprees saved from extinction.

for the one with the missing engine. have u thought of a elite conversion? well worth it trust me.

how much do those engines go for , and what do you have to mod to bolt it up ?

i got my sa engine for $100. which was a good deal. u would be looking for a 94'-04' honda elite engine. they are also hard to find. what i did was search ebay for someone who was selling a lot of elite parts and i asked if they wanted to sell the engine.
