just wondering if anyone has any info on a 1986 gyro s. i currently have an 1986 spree with a few mods mostly to get some more take off. pulley mod and exhaust unrestricted.
i have recently found a 1986 gyro s. i am wondering about the 2 speed auto trans, how it works? also if there are any mods that can be done. i understand if there arent to many i do own a spree. but would much rather roll on a slower gyro than a little quicker spree. any help would be sweet.

That thread above pretty much covers known Gyro's hop ups around here.
Elite 50 (88-93) domed piston is the easiest change. Piston does not net much for top speed from my experience. Twilight was working on an engine swap from a newer JDM Gyro with a variator. You could make some carbon fiber reeds - Wheelman's got some recent threads covering that.[/url]
