How can I tell if oil is mixing properly on 1986 spree

As "Kenny_McCormic" would say:

Do a plug chop

Plug chop wouldn't tell you that(I have fixed a melted motor that was run without oil, plug was perfect), fire up the bike, let it idle for a few, wipe the grime off the oil line and use a flashlight to see if oil is moving.
