Honda Spree and Elite 50 Forums

My spree has 900 miles and I just got it running after being no-op for a few years.

The problem is that it has NO start up torque. Seems to pick up speed after it hits about 5-10mpr. Would it be running too lean? I just cleaned the carb.

Also, how would I know if it's getting enough oil?

You should clean the oil system oil. Drain old oil, clean out lines, put in new injector oil, not premix. When you bleed the oiler you can see it working.

Do you have the air filter in place? Has it been replaced since storage?

Your symptoms call for a compression check.
Compression = power
