Start with 1.5 to 2 turns out on the rich/lean jet to start.

Settings controlled by screws are for idle only, with that being said the lowest screw is a drain, keep it shut. The other flathed screw is how much air gets to the engine at idle, set this a hair under 2 turns. The phillips head screw with the exposed spring is idle speed, fire the bike up with the screw all the way in (do this on the center stand) and back it out till its slow enough it only engage the clutch and spin the back tire (a little is tolerable) but it still keeps up if you rev it and let go.

Now for the main fuel/air mix first you need to do a plug chop fire the bike up and play with it on the stand for a minute, Te run it wide open for a full minute (on the road or or the stand, doesn't matter for rough get it going safely tuning) then hit the kill switch while you still have it wide open, when the engine stops let go of the throttle. Now pull out your sparkplug, what color is the ceramic insulator on the inside of the plug? Wet black means your rich, coco brown to flat black is good with coco being best, and anything lighter than coco brown is LEAN. Rich engines run like s***, lean engines will forever run like s*** or not run at all if kept running lean. What color is your plug?

thanks for the reply, the spark plug is a dark brown collor and dry, the one thing is, the screw with the spring on, i put it in all the way n brought it out 2 times, gave a little throttle but it reved up n didnt stop reving, so out another one time, were up to three turns out now, still a high rev, it was the 4th turn out it felt perfect on opening the throttle, the other screw the one that seems to be right in the carburettor that only takes a quarter turn out before the whole thing cuts out, its a tough one.

Yep everything is set correctly, the idle is a pain to perfect, but with practice you can set one in under a minute.
