Honda Spree and Elite 50 Forums

Got a notice last week about my old 1994 SA50. I sold the bike over a decade ago; apparently the new buyer never bothered to transfer the title over. towing company now has it. I released ownership of it with tow company and they'll auction it there November 13th at 9AM

Posting details here in case anyone wants to follow up. No idea the current condition; I'd replaced the lower end bearings and ground/blocked off the non-functional oil pump.

I live near there. I could go by and get you a pic if they let me. Do you want to get it back? They offer with, or without a title. I think with the title will cost an extra $195-$250? I have not looked into one in quite some time. This is the only way to get a new title in Florida that I know of. That will be interesting to see who comes to that auction. Bones

I'd be interested in a pic if it's no trouble, mostly out of curiosity. I assume the bike's trashed. Not really interested in getting it back, but some other board member might want to go grab it so posting it here.

Shipping cost to Seattle makes it impractical for me. I dont really need a 5th scooter but Ive always wanted a bumble bee yellow or black one in primo condition.

When did you move to Key West? For some reason I thought you were in TX.

Moved to Marathon in 1989 but I had visited a relative there prior to that in '85 and in '86 a bunch of times to go diving and hunt spiny lobster and go out on fishing trips to escape the real world. I came across some 2-legged deer on spring break in those beautiful islands and I realized there might really be paradise down here after all and since there were honda elites all over the place at most of the local scooter rentals, it was easy to see, here was everything I needed to be happy!
