honda metropolitan wiring

Greetings scooterists! I recently aquired a 2008 Honda Metropolitan "basket case". I've got it 85% completed and when wiring the speedometer to the harness, I came across 2 wires coming out of the speedometer that have me stumped. About a 3" green/orange wire with a female bullet connector (high beam circuit), and another green/yellow wire with a male bullet connector (brake light circuit).Doesn't make sense that the two circuits would be connected, but sometimes Honda has different colors connected. Anyone have a speedo exposed that can see where these wires go. All other plugs are connected and the wire diagram doesn't show these wires. I want to be sure that wiring is complete before installing battery. Don't want to confuse the ECU. Thanks for any info you can give.
