Plug Chop Test. Looking for comments.

just did the final plug chop test on my stock 85 Aero 50. Looks great to me but like some other inputs. I did look at Wiki and looks in the good range to me. I installed a new plug, warmed it up, ran around town for bout 5 miles then took her out in the county ran it wide open for a little better the a mile. Got 38 mph at the top end (I'm about 215). Scoot runs great and starts fine both cold and hot. just making some final adjustment. Check out pics below.

Looks like the good plug in my Haynes manual.
A brown, tan or grey firing end indicates that the engine is in good condition and that the plug type is correct
Maybe give it another look over after some more miles just to be sure.

you need to be looking at the soot ring at the bottom of the porcelyn not the tip .Google how to read a plug chop.

There was no ring at the bottom that I could see just the one about half way up that is shown in the picture. It was half way up and not completely around he insulater just one the one side. I took it that must be the side directly opposite from the exhaust port.
