I'm definately going to give it a try, and with these temps, it's bound to snow soon.

Here's what's fun-
A light 2wd four wheeler on a lake, with 6" of snow, or so. Endless donuts!!

I think I'm going to try to build a track for the back of my scooter. The best thing for snow-
A snowmobile. :D I bought my '86 Indy 500 for $500 with 1,000 miles on it (low). It is like new. We got a lot of snow in a short time last year, and the weight of the snow on the ice pushed water up through the cracks in the ice. A big slushy mess. My sled would do 40 at redline (6800 rpm, I think). It should do maybe 80 at that RPM, for a 500. Just kept spinning out in the slushy lake (all my riding is on the lakes). It has a studded track and carbides, so it actually did a much better job of traveling on ice with no snow, than it did with the slush.

Then their is water in your throttle line. Spray some WD-40 in it. Every day for a few weeks so it soaks in their. Will displace the water.

I'm seriously thinking of how to make a track for the back of the scooter. Will a Spree back rim fit an elite?

isn't WD40 so named because it was the 40th (and successful) attempt at Displacing Water? or is this an old wives tale?

"I think I'm going to try to build a track for the back of my scooter. The best thing for snow-
A snowmobile. Very Happy"

I would love to see something like that

As for snow riding just be careful if you do it at night, black ice sucks*remembers turning and falling in the middle of a sideroad* lol but yeah going straight is simple its turning that is hard
