Not sure what is going on, I suspect someone put on a later model or another model jug. Trying to re-ring and wondering what I have here.
I ordered honda part 12191-gs7-680 for my 88 elite sa50

Think I may have found what it is....a se50 gasket looks like this.

On second thought found an 87 elite cylinder head that looks like mine.

That is a gasket for an AF16 block.

You have the wrong gasket.

The pic where it "fits the block"......the gasket is backwards.

A little confused....
The gasket honda no. 12191-gs7-680 was the correct no. for my bike, 1988 elite sa50.

The gasket fits my block, is that a af16?
The cylinder head does not match perfectly, it had no gasket on it when I first took it apart, and I made one.It ran, but was hard to start cold. After ordering rings and head/jug gaskets, is when I noticed the difference. When mated there is open spots where air can come in. So what head is this? and will a different gasket solve this?
