My 88' Jog

Just got home from my dad's house (where I'm gonna keep my Jog til' I get it runnin') and when I first got the bike, it was in a few pieces, so before I assembled it I cleaned the carb (IT WAS A FILLLLLTTTTHHHHYYY MESS) It was soooo gunked up like it hadn't been runnin' in a good 5 years, but anyways, the Intake Boot was dryrotted, and cracked (wish I had known that before I put a little gas in it) and the coil wire is stripped, and theres no boot for the plug, so I'm not 100% sure whether I should buy a CDI too or just a coil/wire, but theres only 1 crack on the whole bike, and its left signal.

Its got 2592 miles. It's not seized up either. But there was ONE thing I'm not too sure about, the pickup (I think thats what it's called) Right above the fan, had a wire cut and the other half was right next to it, so I stripped them and connected them to what had appeared it should've looked like. I have pics of everything,

That is awesome. I bought my last cg50 from Muscatine. Not as clean as yours. They run great when fixed up. What is the goal, get it back to proper factory condition?

My primary objective is to get it to run and move, then on to the good stuff, thinking of maybe just getting a new motor, And it was a whole lot cleaner then I had expected it to be! and for 3 xbox 360 games I couldnt say no.

One more question, my motor would be the 1PE40QMB right?

I've always heard it as the Vertical Minarelli, never used a code for it.
Vw or someone will chime in with the technical code soon.

sell the jog and get a 92-01 jog was sold in usa market. lighter than zuma.
horizontal motor has more parts to mod the motor,, crank, bore kit. transmission
razz use intake boot that hold the carb.

Yeah its the vertical minarelli. There is a lot of aftermarket motor parts for that motor. They still make that motor and sell them in europe in the yamaha bws50 which looks like a pre bug zuma. Go to sip or scooter attack for parts. They have the same brand parts and models as the horizontal minarelli and the high end stuff at that.

Yeah but I'm only 16 man I got a budget, haha, I'm getting my intake pipe, cdi, ignition coil, spark plug, air filter, and ly left signal bulb all for $47.50 free shipping.

BUT one question, how is the performance 5 pin CDI supposed to wire up to my 5 pin CDI when theres only one spot that would clip on to the wires I have, I circled them on the picture.
