gas shouldnt come out of the line when you take it off of your carb.

When suction is applied to the lower (vacuum) tube, a valve in the petcock is opened and fuel should come out of the other tube. No fuel should ever be in the vacuum tube. But if nothing comes out of the fuel tube when the vacuum tube is attached to the carb, then you have a problem. Either a block in the fuel system or a compression problem.

two things: 1. Vaccume line goes to the intake, not the carb (if its hooked up that way then thats your problem). 2. When you apply a vaccume (or suck on it for that matter) and ONLY when you apply vaccume, should there be fuel flowing out of the fuel line (detatch from carb to check petcock) (fuel line is the top outlet on petcock)

well my dad says the problem may be the auto bystarter. It measure 5 oems on the two wires. is there suppost to be voltage going to the wires? and one more thing what happens if the reed valve seat is bad?

Derick if I cant get it running soon i may bring it over thanks.

If the carb's getting gas (which sounds questionable) and it's not starting then your idle jet's still plugged or you're missing something in the airbox, like the filter.

no the filter is fine i cleaned the air filter and oiled the filtter up and put it back in. I will try and clean the carb really good(again) and i will clean the idle jet good too. Any more ideas please comment.

well i cleaned the carb and it was really clean but i still cleaned it. The idle jet is not cloged it is clean. I put everything on and it still wont start. After that i put my hand behind the back fender and i felt something realy hott. Then I found a wire that was connected wrong, it is black and I cant figure out where it connects. Any ideas???
