I had to drive a bit to pick it up...but for $50 it was worth it. No title but not the end of the world. Pretty complete all in all. I should have snapped my own pics when I got it home but I was too amped up to start tearing into it lol. Somebody tried to paint the whole thing which is peeling off the polyethylene and in parts off the abs. I really wish I would have snapped pics of the carb it was encased in grime and was the size of a softball with hoses coming out. Guy said it wouldn't start all of the sudden and it has sat since July. Kickstart was frozen and he had taken the starter off.
When I cleaned it up a bit and popped the covers off I found the starter pinon had completed seized in the extended position and lodged in the driven gear. Which explains a lot. Took off the clutch, driven gear, and variator. Cleaned out all the corrosion and crap in there. Tonight I will swap in a mint starer pinon I have as well as parts I had from another af16. The clutch is a rusty mess. The variator was completely frozen with the rollers destroyed. So I am just gonna do a complete transplant of variator/clutch, and deal with cleaning up the originals later. If anything got a complete af16 cheap and other stuff to part out. Win/win if you ask me
