I paid $450 for mine last month. It was purchased from the original owner with 1,450 original miles on it. Started right up on the first kick (battery was dead) and I test rode it up and down her street with no problems. Some of the plastic panels were lightly scratched and dinged but nothing major. She and her husband had always kept it in their garage so the original red paint was still nice and shiny. Other than replacing the foam air filter and the original tires with Pirelli 3.0x10 SL26s plus a new battery from Batteries Plus I've not had to do anything else to it. I've been very pleased with the purchase.

Depends on things like location and condition. I'd pay $800+ for a really nice low mileage 87.

I agree. Saw one locally this summer. Cherry with 2300 miles and listed for $850. He sold it the same day for full price.
Am almost cherry one was in Florida and sat for near a month before selling for $450.

I would pay right around $600 max depending on condition. But I don't worry too awful much about it running because of the wealth of information and help here on the board so I try to find them in the $300 range. Just found a 94 SA50 that isn't currently running but seems to be in great condition aesthetically for $300.

Only has 639 miles. Owner is original owner and says it ran fine till he parked it for the winter last year. I'm sure she just needs dusted off, carb cleaned, new gas, a charge and a few things to brush up and she will be back on the streets in no time, weather permitting of course.

Last registered in 2008? 3 years in back dues isn't going to be cheap. Probably at the least a couple hundred bux. Good luck!

Greetings:
Uhh, I don't think that's an '87 SE50. Looks more S-A-Ish.

Like Wheelman-111 said. Don't think honda made that model in '87. I would check those serial numbers for sure. Looks 95 or 96'ish.Look underneath the bottom of the floor deck, should be a white sticker with info on model/ year. Nice looking ride though. Happy Trails!

EDIT: sorry, I was confused by the pic, it wasn't from the original poster of this thread. Sometimes I jump the gun. But while we're at it , just what the heck is a '87 "se" anyway?
