Been thinking about moving up to 80 cc or 125 cc and thinking to stick with the elites.
What's some pros or cons to 80 cc and 125cc? What's a good price running or not running on CL? If bike isn't running, what's some things to look for? I've been looking at an 84 elite 80cc not running. Anything special I should be looking for - common flaws?

Still don't have se50 starting, but now I've got all winter. if i give up on it, what's it worth? Have all the plastics, lights, new tires and registered. Wonder if it's worth more parted.

They are ugly. Less fun to mod. Something, to me, about cruising around on a well loved, easily maintained 50 just makes sense. But I have seen ones in running condition that went for $300-$450. Just depends where you are at and how bad the seller wants to get rid of it.

The bigger Elites are all 4 strokes and there are next to no performance parts for them.
