looking for a good spree mechanic in PORTLAND

Hey guys gonna need to clean my carb and tune up the spree when I get back to town.. and I am looking for any ideas on who would be good to take it to for this.. would prefer them to be in portland proper.. thanks

I'd encourage you to do the cleaning and tuneup yourself.

IMO those are essential skills for a spree owner and even the first time doing them it doesn't take very long.

Also got a little tip for those stubborn carbs, used it myself on a Gyro recently and worked AWESOME!!!

Running those things thru jets is a bad thing. Yes, they clear out crap but they also remove metal from the jet, which opens up the size of the jet, a bad thing. * they ruin nozzles on Ox/acetylene welding tips which are a lot harder than than fuel jets.

There are different sizes of wire included in the kit. You will not remove metal if you're using a smaller wire than the hole you are poking. The smallest wire is perfect for the fixed pilot in these carbs, trust me I'm not some dumb kid :eyeroll:

Believing those round files and that is what they are, will not remove metal is like believing obummer is gonna do anything right. NOT!

I don't need a picture, I have a set somewhere around here. I know what they are and haven't used them since I got them.
