Rear wheel won't spin freely (nor clutch/drive pulley)

Greetings,
Here I am again asking for help. The back story, I had my 1997 SA50P apart replacing the parts (added what is in my signature) and was able to roll the scoot around the garage yesterday no problems.
Today, I finished re-installing the carb and putting in a new SR oil pump. Put the scoot back together no problems. Started right up but noticed the rear wheel was not turning (normally idles little high and it spins on the kick-stand). I turn the scoot off and try and turn the wheel manually and it acts as if it is froze up. Remove the crank case covers and find that the front drive gear turns freely but the rear clutch/drive pulley are very difficult to turn by hand.
I am at a lose for what to try but know that the wheel was turning freely before I started it up this afternoon. I surely hope that something isn't broke...
Thanks for the assistance once again

hmmmm have you taken the clutch off and checked the bearings? if those are fine you might want to pull the transmission cover off and make sure your gears are not binding. Have you made sure there is oil in the transmission?
also check and make sure your rear brake isnt too tight

PROBLEM SOLVED...
Turns out I am a colossal moron today. I have my front console apart as well. So in order to start the scoot I needed a third hand to hold the break, give it a little gas, and hit the start button. That third hand came in the form of me engaging the rear breaks and once the scoot was running I never took the break off. So let that be a lesson to always double, triple and in my case quadruple check EVERYTHING
Wow, I amaze myself at how smart I am one moment and then completely absent minded the next...

I hadn't seen your comment about the break. I must have read it before you edited it.
I was sitting on the couch and thought to myself "did you leave the break on..." and immediately went out to the garage and went *PALM FACE* as I still saw the break engaged. Started the scoot, removed break, and rev'ed it up and wheel started spinning like normal.

Please, the term is BRAKE. Break is when you break something, like your scooter or a glass jar.

Like I mentioned previously my brain hasn't been function properly as of late or as my g/f would say the dimmer switch is on low. haha. I screw up my words sometimes but actually surprised/disappointed I messed up break vs brake since that is worse then improperly using their, there, and the're.
Maybe tomorrow will be a better day...
Regardless thanks for the continued support
