Honda Spree and Elite 50 Forums

Well in addition to my awesome elite sr, I scooped up this Honda Scooter Neon.

How do you plan to mount it? Does it run on Household current? You may need an inverter.

Hey, Yea I am going to mount it for sure. It has hooks on the framing and its runs off 120v outlet. Its on right now haha. pretty sick.

That's very cool. Where'd you find that? I wonder if Honda made those for dealerships, or if a dealership actually had it made custom for their shop.

Wow, that brings back the memories! The honda shop I worked at in high school had that same sign above the parts Dept. When we closed down for the night and I shut off the lights, it made the shop glow... Kinda like a Honda night light... when the shop was glowing from the light, that meant work was over and it was time to ride home!

I believe a lot of them were made. I have seen a couple here on there on the internetz and finally managed to buy one. They were actually made in Southeast Wisconsin( pretty close to where I actually live) way back in the day. It does need a little restoration (paint and new hangers) but that will have to wait because I need the money for some mods on my elite.
