SpreeY6 (or 139QMSpree)

The seat bucket on my cheap china bike is disintegrating. The body is held together with zip-ties. And the engine is leaning to one side, causing crazy tire wear and odd handling. As I tore down the bike to start fixing it, i got an inspired idea...

So Trafficjamz and I started to build a gy6 clone spree. The 139QMB engine on my chinabike propels it to 46mph. I don't expect the SpreeY6 to go any faster, but shedding 70 pounds of chinabike for a Spree frame should make for a fun ride. It's going to be a real peice of redneck engineering, But it should be ridable in very little time. The engine is on part of the spree frame already... The rear half of the spree frame needs joined to the hacked and welded spree front half with a section of chinaframe welded to it. It may end up as a hard-tail, as the body likely will not clear the shock. If I can retain the shock, I'll be very happy, But the body panels are more of a priority.

Pics soon.

Well, there you go. Thanx for the pix, Jamz! More to come tomorrow! Working on the 139QMSpree and the Spreeio tomorrow. I hope the UPS man brings me an oil pump plug! C'mon Capt. Kirk! (Our UPS guy is Captian Kirk. I swear. The enterprise is his mighty brown steed, from which he righteously delivers the parcels which make the universe go 'round. Really. He's Kirk and he uses our microwave. I'm drunk.)

You'll have to excuse my ignorance, but the 139QMB engine is actually just a GY6 clone? For some reason I had the idea they were very different motors.

dosnt come out the hole like a 2 stroke but mine is pretty quick... get about 50 55mph. parts are everywhere and super cheap. its a lot longer than stock so turning isnot as good as it should

overall its a cheap fun swap and i love it other than turning radius i have no issues with this swapp
