Honda Spree and Elite 50 Forums

Can I cram a newer sealed battery in an 84 spree without major hacking? Looking at one that fits the newer spree/sb50 elites, etc. Interstate number FAYTX4L or something like that. Will it charge the sealed battery or am I just better off overall to get a conventional one? Measurements they give for the interstate show that it will be very close and tight fit. Thanks in advance.

anyway, as far as i know, all the spree's share the same size battery box... i personally took out my battery box to fit a much larger battery in, but i'm weird like that.
