Scooter Meet with the Ruckus guys in Socal

Last week thursday I went to local Ruckus meet in Socal. They ride every thursday nite, about 40 plus Ruckus show up, a lot of em have 150cc gy6 swap, and some of em have Zuma 2 stroke swap. Apparently most of em have no clue what I am riding and why i am there at their meet, I am still able to meet some cool Ruckus people talk and ride with.
after an hour of waiting for people to show up, there were 2 groups, I follow the smaller group (about 12 people) rode about 10 miles to downtown LA. Most of em have no clue what kinda scooter i am riding (my Elite S with 72cc 8.44:1, 28mm carb, V8 pipe, pulley and 1000 clutch spring.). when i was at the stop light, i smoke most of em off the line except one of em who kept up with me, when i hit about 45mph, i can feel i am not going as fast. when i am going about 50 mph, 3 of Ruckus passed me, I guess the ruckus are able to go about 60-65 mph.
after the ride to downtown LA, we found a restaurant that was still open, grab some food and drink then we head back. the group i rode with give me some respect for my Elite that is able to accelerate that quick, and some of em wanna invest in an Elite or 2 stroke scooter.
Looks like i need to change my 8.44:1 gearing to 7.5:1 in order for me to keep up with 150cc Ruckus that can go 60-65mph
