Honda Spree and Elite 50 Forums

i have a spree that ive had the big bore kit in for a while now. last night it stopped running suddenly, but i was able to restart. today a compression test showed me 60 psi. Can this be right? i never felt a difference in power, and ive had no problems since, even today on my ride it kept running strong. if compression's really is an issue, can i get away with just replacing the rings? Also, all of my plugs have always fallen into the safe range, so running lean hasnt ever been an issue

You say it restarted fine and no loss of power? I would question that compression test.

I agree with the above statement. If it's running strong, then let it go, don't go messin around with it too much.

If its was running and shut off while riding,sounds like a light seize.Are you pre mixing a little?

i havent been premixing other than the initial 3-4 tanks. should i make up a light premix ? what ratio would you recommend i have a 90 jet and a uni filter. this is the only time ive had any problems but also the longest i was at near WOT
