Honda Spree production numbers... Any ideas?

Does anyone have any idea how many sprees were produced in each year of production? Seems like this info should be floating around somewhere. And if anyone had it, they would surely be on this great board!

Half of them are in Traes garage.
I'd be interested in that info too. I'd also like to know where the most were sold. Seems like Michigan, Wisconsin and Kentucky has a ton listed on craigslist.

Honda sold more Spree's in Michigan than Civic's and Accord's combined.
At least that's what it seemed like to be true in 1986.
Growing up in Michigan I was taught that Honda was the Devil... Buy only from the big three. (like Kathy Bates says in the "Waterboy")
Kinda funny looking back on how well they sold here!!
I guess we felt bad for Honda so we bought their scooters and lawnmowers..

I agree with Meehan , seems like Michigan is the Spree capitol of the world !

something that would be very helpful is a means with which we could discern the vin to the actual year.
and i am referring to the engine code.NOT the frame code.
most motorcycle models have this.
for instance vin#'s 1234 thru 1539 were made in x year
1539 thr 1999 are x year and so on.
