It could be your wires to starter are not connected securely or broken, or perhaps your starter relay is shot.
Re: 1994 Honda Elite - Electric start will not work????
What does it look like and where is the starter relay? Is it down by the battery, 4 prong little box (ACA1218-1)????

Yes, the relay is by the battery. See photo below of connections.
If you can hear the relay clicking jump to the contact side checks, and if those check out good, check the starter.
Relay Coil side checks
With the ignition switch 'on' and the brake lever pulled there should approx 12v at the Green/Yellow (brake light) wire.
While still holding the brake lever, the Yellow/Red start button connection will also be approx 12v. Pushing the start button should
pull that node to 0v (ground) and the relay should click.
Relay Contact side checks
The Red wire is always hot. It is directly wired to the battery. Check that with your multimeter. If no voltage inspect the fat red wire at the battery terminal lug.
Red/White - If the relay was heard clicking in the coil side checks above, verify voltage is present on this wire when the relay closes.

Well, i finally got around to looking at this. I have no click from the relay, I took it out and jumped the 2 red wires the battery hot and the starter hot and it poped right off, is there a way to check the start button or does anyone have another idea?

Hello: either a bad start switch, or brake handle switch? there is an article on the wiki on how to repair them.hondaspree.net/wiki/index.php5?title=El ... -_Switches tests for key switch, how to clean start switch. Probably can test for resistance on the brake switch, did you try holding first the left and then the right brake lever while trying to start? Good luck.

When you pull the brake handle the brake light is suppose to come on. If there is no light on, you will have nothing happen as the brake light supplies the power, the start button supplies the ground to the start relay. Try using the other brake.

Greetings:
My 2001 SR did that for a while. The tiny brake-light switches can get dodgy sometimes. Humidity, dust, who knows why? Mine self-corrected before I hit it with a squirt of dry-lube.

Re: 1994 Honda Elite - Electric start will not work????
ok maybe now someone can walk me through this I have it narrowed down to the rear brake starter switch thingy, so I am guessing I have to take the front blinker cover off and clean the switch? Or is the switch somewhere else?

Greetings:
That tiny black switch has a plunger that is pressed by the brake handle. Degree of disassembly required depends on the model, but I think you'll have to remove the headlight shroud to get to it. I have a couple of spare switches if you can't revive yours.

Re: 1994 Honda Elite - Electric start will not work????
I have a 94 50 elite, How the heck do I get this headlight shroud off to look at the black switch, plunger thing, I took the 3 screws off the front and the three off the back and I cant see anymore?
Re: 1994 Honda Elite - Electric start will not work????
Take the 3 screws off the plastic that holds the speedometer and work it loose from the headlight plastic. The headlight plastic and speedometer plastic sorta clip together at 3 spots. Small screwdriver works too but you might chip the paint. The speedometer plastic has to be removed before headlight plastic can be removed.
