Duke250 wrote:One more thing I just notice that . I was looking in the manual and i just saw that I am missing something on the oil pump . I am missing a cable . How do I fix it ??????????
Now I think I did ask about that ?????s . Now I don't thing oil is going in to my carb unless I hold on that oil pump control part . I was online ordering all the parts that I need. I went on
http://www.cheapcycleparts.com/model_ye ... tch-cables
I think I can get the right cable on there . I am confused because it says cable set throttle (single end ). What do they mean single end? also I went on ebay . Will that fit my 1998 honda elite sa50p

The SA50P model uses a single cable while the SA50 uses the dual cable.

Ok so is that mean I have nothing to do with it because there is no way that oil will get in to my carb unless I tie it or something To hold the pump oil control

The oil does not go to the carb float bowl where the fuel is. It is pumped into the slide tower of the carb and sucked into the intake manifold along with the fuel from the jets.

Yeah I know the oil doesn't go to the carb bowl but unless I tie that thing wather you call it the oil pump control . No oil will flow in to the oil line when remove it from the carb . I believe the guy who own it the first time might have bought the wrong cable . Is it the dual cable that have double lines ? One for the carb and one for the oil pump ??. I just want to do it right so I don't waste my engine only have 20**miles in it . Thanks for helping CbR10000

if yours is and sa50P and not modified you do not need the split cable. If you have deristriced the P model than a split cable will help but won't put out as much oil as the sa50 no P models oil pump.
if dereristriced P model then you can just add some premix fuel in the tank to supplement the pump. Can't remember the ratio, use the search function or check the wikispreedia proper amount.

No, even in the closed position there is oil flow. It is a regulator not an on/off valve.
CBR10000 is the ranking on the board and not who some one is.

Thanks you two make more since now . Now the book says to used PRO HONDA GN2 2-STROKE. trying to buy online and all says PRO HONDA GN2 2-STROKE INJECTION/PREMIX OIL. Would that be the correct one ??Just concern about the word injection/premix oil.
