I'm at 120 and 122 with 2 26mm polini carbs on 1 unported fabrizi/mhr ported block and scorp and 1 well ported fabrizi/mhr well ported block with fab chamber. I feel I could go up on the main on the ported but doubt it. 130 is a large main to be using on a fab and 26mm. I be rejecting once the c16 arrives because I don't like the fab pipe.
Just throwing out there my jetting so far on 82cc fabrizis and 26mm polini pwks.

Actually, any good engine builder will tell you to coat your metal base gaskets with aerosol spray. It's a way to ensure it does not leak due to inconsistencies in machined surfaces like he's described.

Good to know.

Just wondering what about or why don't you like that Fabrizzi pipe? I was looking at it. It looks nice?

It is kind of flat on power after it hit the pipe. Also it's louder than I'd want for the performance. I'm running a scorp and the fab pipe on the same bore, minus porting, and it's day and night difference on and off the pipe. Scorpion kills it.

I'm going to be using a 24mm polini today on an unported corsa and unported block with a ported ct manifold kx65 boyesen reeds, polini angled air filter, and for fun I'll run the fabrizi and the burial to compare.
Do you have any porting done?

Very similar to what I have right now.

I ported intake windows on the case, and cleaned up the port windows on the cylinder a little, but I just evened them out. I also opened up yhe exhaust output to mwtch it to the exhaust seal. All minor stuff. Did not do any port matching of the cylinder to case.

Update is this....

Engine is out of the bike, splitting the case, putting in a Malossi crank, going to match the boost port on the Coraa., and then start over.

I'm not sure what the deal was, so instead of working backwards to determine the issue, I'm taking it all the way down. This way I know the engine from bottom to top, and will know exactly how it is out together.

I have a feeling that the step on the deck between the two case half's was causing an issue with the base gasket. While it is apart, I will address that also.

So more work for me, but at all least I get a shinny new crank shaft to play with also lol

Very thankful that Cruzinggratiot is local to me. He has already helped a lot, but the guy has great logging of his builds and what works and what needs to be done.

He is going to help with the lower end and machine that boost port for me.

Just waiting on parts now..

My thought process is that I will be able to rebuild and seal the lower end knowing that everything is correct. And I can also address the slight difference in deck height difference so that I know the base gasket will have a good surface. And so on from there. Plus I get to have a stuffer crank now :)

I'll for sure be posting some updates as it progresses.

Sweetness, living close to cruising must be awesome.
Sure way to guarantee its sealed is to pressure and vacuum test it after rebuild. Don't skip that step. While you have it off the bike test it if you haven't tore her down yet. It'd be nice to know what's wrong.
I'd advise getting skf bearings for the rebuild also.

I will pressure test it before I take it all the way down. I'm not sure what kind of bearings I'm getting. Whatever G9 put in the box with the crank that is somewhere on its way to me.
