hmm. well i checked the fly wheel, its on tight, i turned the engine over with an electric drill(my battery died) i got a new spark plug (bpr4hs, i had a 6 in there, figured i could go hotter. and nothing, no light, no nothing.
I put WD40 into the carb mouth... nothing.
I put WD40 down the jug, NOTHING.
I figure i'll check my reeds?!

did it run before the new cylinder and piston were installed? if so, its highly unlikely this is the problem.

Pull plug and crank over, should hear pop at BDC(this is the sound of a good bottom end dumping into the jug).
I am not a mechanic, nor do I play one on TV. Actually my advice is probably worth slightly less than what you pay to view it.

I've had key problems with Briggs and Stratton years ago. I had forgotten about that. The refresher may help my new ventures into 2 strokers and scoots.
