Monday I'm gonna visit a local tuner, to see what we can do.

He has a Yamaha DT50mx himself 14hp at the wheel

Oh!
I have a question: Do you guys modify or use an other ignition?
Or do you use the original one?

The stock cdi here in the states works fine all the way to at least 15k that I know of.the coil on the other hand,I would use a higher output coil for the higher compression you will be using or use a nology wire set.the spark will have a hard time making the jump with a high reving high compression engine.

So the ignition and flywheel itself stay unchanged?
No inner rotor ignitions? programmable CDI's etc?
Wouldn't it be a good idea to use a innerrotor?
The only problem I can think of is that the cooling would ben tricky...

if you have the money to spend on those stuff, they will for sure help. the rotor kit more than anything. going from the heavy steel mag/flywheel to an aluminum one.that will free up some rpms and let the motor rev up faster too.

I brought the engine to the tuner yesterday!

We desided that we will not weld extra material around the intake, because there isnt enough room for it.

I'm thinking about making the holes in the groundplate of the ignition into slots.. that way I can adjust the ignition timing..

The flywheel will allso be lightend (6)

Greetings:
Very nice work Koert!
The last issue to conquer might be getting the cooling shrouds to fit around that tall cylinder. Have you test-fitted them?

I haven't test fitted the cooling shrouds yet!
I didn't really have the time for it, and to be honest I hadn't thought about it yet..
I hope the tuner is finisched soon!
And I'm allso looking for a different front fork...

Well I have a nice intake manifold now!

It is an original Honda CR85 manifold!

My carb fits perfectly!

Does that setup use the stock reeds?
Why not just use the ct manifold and the bigger reed cage?
I am afraid that the stock reed cage will restrict your 125cc setup.

I will be using the CR85 reedcage.
And I don't think that the CR85 reeds will restrict it at all

Why I don't use a CT manifold: I have to have it shipped from the other side of the ocean
And I am a verry impatient person!
