As far as temps go, I sit around 275-300 for most riding, 325-350 during long pulls under power. I'll let it creep to 375-400 on occasion if someone needs that extra long throttle twist to learn a lesson.
Pardon my stupidity do I move it up?

WOT is controlled by the main jet size, the needle has very minor effect on it. From about 1/4 up to 3/4 to 7/8 throttle is contolled by the needle. So if you are reaching these temp at WOT then you need to address the main jet for real changes. However if these temps are happen below 7/8 throttle the raising the needle is where you attention needs to be. If you have temps too high between half and WOT increase the main jet size.

Hey KingJeff! Freakin hilarious, I have almost exactly the same set up: 2000 dio w/ AF18E stock except keli variator, 7 and 9 gram rollers, yms R1 pipe, uni filter, 9.8:1 gears (long hills everywhere so skipped the 9.1:1's), 90& 95 main jets. Just ordered 100 main jet and 1500 centre spring. Getting last few parts monday and was reading your post here and wondering if you tried your 1500 centre spring yet? The jets depend on the chop but also trying a step up. Also I'm still running the BR6HSA plug, are you using the BR8 like mentioned on here by others? Anyhow rock out! good to see such great taste on here.
