Hi all.
I am farily new to scooting - its fun.
I am riding in New Port Richey, FL. where it rains a lot.
I have a 1995 SA50PS :
have cleaned out the exhaust
have bored out the restrictor to about 1"
I need to get new tires (3.00 x10")
It has stock rims.
Do they need to be tubed ,
or can I use a tube inside of a tubless tire?
Am looking at Michelin S1 for front & rear :

Thanks in advance.

i have the s1's on my aero, im not too fond of them, they feel very unpredictable at limit, i have the IRC mb38s on my elite e, they were the cheapest ones the MC place here had, and they are surprisingly good, i like them more than the michelins. any one had any experience with the maxxis m6114? they say they are a soft compound race tire, cheap too!

Re: SA 50 tire recommendations ?
I am thinking for my 1995 SA50PS :
IRC MB-520 s {http://www.irc-tire.com/mce/tires/ss-530.html#mb-520}
front 3.00J - 10 ( 42 TL )
rear 3.50J - 10 ( 51 TL )

I will be upgrading the variator , and opening up the air filter , then re-jetting to #80
(have already cleaned the exhaust & drilled it out to 1 inch)
? Do these need to be balanced?

Re: SA 50 tire recommendations ?
those look like the stock tires on a metropolitan, as long as they seat squarely on the rim, no balancing is necessary, unless your doing over 60 or so.
Re: SA 50 tire recommendations ?
Can a stock tube be run with a 3.5-10 or a 90/90-10 tire? Or is a larger tube required?
