vibration...

Post by Burgleflickle »

So I did some research about my bike vibrating like crazy, and I found info on cleaning the clutch assembly. Would someone elaborate how, and what else I should look at doing like changing my final drive oil?

I have an 88 elite sa50 with 8001 miles and she runs smooth until she slips...

88 Elite vibration

Post by II Tall »

I have an '88 50cc Elite with a vibration at low speeds that I can feel through the handlebars, seat and floor. Does that sound like yours? Did you ever get a response to your question/problem?
There is no such thing as a unique idea, just better uses of the old ones.

buy a new belt.
I am not a mechanic, nor do I play one on TV. Actually my advice is probably worth slightly less than what you pay to view it.

you can eliminate 2 things real fast, with the front brake on push the scoot forward & back any play means the steering stem race bearings are shot, next with the scoot on the center stand move the rear wheel back & fourth any more than 1/4 in play and the motor mounts are shot= a b**** to replace, the last thing would be a bad crank bearing which will cause the engine to vibrate & lose power
some people dream of speed, i own your dreams!
