Got a new piston off of EBAY for my 1993 Honda Elite SA50. The guy said that it would fit my scooter and it is too small. The one he sent me measures 39 MM and the one out of my 1993 Honda Elite SA50 is 41MM. He is telling me that someone has put a different motor on my scooter (he is saying it's 1 off of a LX rather then a SR). Can anyone HELP me with this????? PLEASE!!! I really think he sent me the WRONG piston.
Thanks
Please Help!!! 1993 Honda Elite Piston size?? 39MM or 41MM??

Huh! partsfiche says 1993 takes the same part number piston as for a 1992 Elite SA-50, and I know its 41mm.
If it will help you with that seller, I have a new 13101-GS-7 piston in its original box. Would be happy to take some pics for you with a caliper on the piston. Service manual has the cyl bore in it too.
Could the piston is 94 and up Elite S/SR? You could measure the crankpin (edit: That's piston pin) it would be 12mm instead of 10.

You have a SE50 equivalent motor, taken from elite service manual.

Bore and stroke
88-93----41.0 mm x 37.4 mm
after 93----39.0 mm x 41.4 mm
* phpBB eliminating my spaces!
You were sold a 94 and up piston.

I am not a mechanic, nor do I play one on TV. Actually my advice is probably worth slightly less than what you pay to view it.
