Lol, but seriously, a motor shouldn't * backfire (or f*** up in any way under any condition) if you can tune one properly.CharlotteSpreeRider wrote:Can someone pass the popcorn?

I am not a mechanic, nor do I play one on TV. Actually my advice is probably worth slightly less than what you pay to view it.

I'm not exactly sure, but the correct usage might be "penisi."Kenny knows what I'm talking about. We're not trying to be "penisis" were just trying to keep the op informed of what's real.

aloha wrote:I still say B.S. No way you can hit 43-47 with just a pulley mod. And so what if it's an SR, that's basically a derestricted S. It also seems you are not the original owner so you don't know for sure the gears were not replaced and you were not informed. Pulley mod will get moped up to speed faster and does not make you bike gain MPH's. Gears will give you more top end. If you only weigh 90 LBS., was going down a steep hill and had a gust of wind behind you, then maybe.
***END OF THREAD, STFU!!!***
But a pulley WILL give you more top end won't it? Regardless of how much, the general consensus is that it does improve top speed.

ALSO, it seems that monkeywrench is dealing with a pulley that nobody else has ever installed. Its not the usual Keli pulley so i don't see how his results can be compared to anybody elses unless they have used the same thing. Of course you may say that no pulley will give that much increase, but how can you be sure when no one else (atleast anybody i've ever seen on here) has tried this besides him?
