how much top speed increase can i expect from a speed pulley?

some people say like 40-45 with pulley allone.
Some people even say it helps them get to speed faster.

If it was only that easy and inexpensive. Spend $50 for a High Speed pulley and gain 10 MPH

my red elite does about 43to47 mph with just the pulley

Thats what I got with the "Keli" variator($50 value) and even going against the wind I can keep the speed up to 35-37mph compared to 30-33.

And actually it seems the acceleration is slightly faster than the stock one..very slight increase..it is a little more noticeable from 30-35 and then it slowly goes up from there to 40-45mph. Just so you know, I believe I have 9g rollers.

Putting thought into it it should give you a 5, maybe a 7 mph increase. The time I hit 45, I had the wind to my side and probably my back too..which with the stock pulley I could hit 40.

here is your b.s. ha ha ha ha ha ha bla bla bla. and here is the kicker my high speed pulley came off of a peace of sh1t t5 chinese scooter.
my scooter is a sr elite anyway so those speeds should be preaty common with just a pulley. ah so hu if you want to b.s. me some more than f.off

I still say B.S. No way you can hit 43-47 with just a pulley mod. And so what if it's an SR, that's basically a derestricted S. It also seems you are not the original owner so you don't know for sure the gears were not replaced and you were not informed. Pulley mod will get moped up to speed faster and does not make you bike gain MPH's. Gears will give you more top end. If you only weigh 90 LBS., was going down a steep hill and had a gust of wind behind you, then maybe.

sorry dude but i can turn the fxxxing clutch 12 times for the wheel to turn once and yes there is a dif in the s and sr even if u have both of them deristricted all the way . the carb on a s has a #68 main jet sr has a#78
and i put the fxxxing thing together. so i know whats in it and what isnt.
my results is what it is so go b.s. yourself

ya when i first got the elite i didnt know what all you could do to them.
to tell you the truth i just stumbled across this forum and started asking questions after i started tearing in to these thing i learned a big dill about them. then i started to build one with aftermarket parts and then i found another one that was just a frame half the motor and back wheel. after i putt that one together i putt the chinese pully on it and found good resuilts.

ha i have another elite that has 7/1 gears 72cc kit 1500rpm shift spring and high speed kelly pully and 24mm carb with double reed valves and a pg long pipe so you aint telling me nothing. ill smoke your * anyday

Anybody MONKEY can slap on parts. It's all about the tuning.
