1997 versus 2000 Elite

Is the 1997 Elite the same scooter as the 2000 Elite ?

Im pretty sure 94-01 are all the same internally.
I am not a mechanic, nor do I play one on TV. Actually my advice is probably worth slightly less than what you pay to view it.

all honda elites 50's...
94-01
are the same bike part for part. The only and only difference is the some bikes are restricted and some are not. All parts are interchangeable.

There was a washer eliminated in the final drive gear either in 97-98 everything else is the same.
Can't afford speed then stay away from it!

I told you on the other forum... :lol: outer gear over only. :roll: 87,88-93,94-98 2 bearing cover & 1 bearing on 99-01 only...

There are some small differences. I bought a 96 fork for my 98 and the fork fit except it is missing the bearings.

the 98 bearings will not fit over the tube the 96 tube is a hair bigger in diameter.

WHERE DO I GET THE BEARINGS FOR THE 96 FORKS

AND WHERE IS THE BEST PLACE TO BUY A BATTERY FOR A ELITE 150 12v-9 which is bigger than the 50 battery I bought at Walmart.
