Stator Removal

Post by Accolay »

On the SE50....the manual suggests the stator should pull right out you know, with fingers. The stator I have really likes where it is. Should I be using a puller? I could use a BFH, but I would like to use this part again :)

spray some nut buster or pb blaster on there and let it soak. sometimes corosion builds up in between the stator mount and the engine case so its frozen in there.
Nothing like getting stroked!
