hi, i need to change my rings on my 94 elite. i mesure my piston and its 40.84mm of diameter, so i guess i have a 41mm piston with .16mm of wall clearance. Now, i just need to know if my piston is a honda or not, it has the EX and GS mark on the pison head....
is there anyway to verify that i have a honda piston???
if not ill have to change the hole piston and ring, wich would be stupid since my piston is still very good.
thanks
how do i know brand of piston??

Re: how do i know brand of piston??
if you take the rings off and they are slightly different with the bottom one having a wavy one underneath it that is stock. the ex is for the exhaust side. also the honda dealer suggests to replace the piston and rings. I've used stock and aftermarket and had success with both.
