86 spree starts stutters then stops

I am lost. I have cleaned out the Carb and been completely through the motor and I c
an't keep it running :sad:

Did you put the spacer on right in between the carb and the manifold??

I would check the carb again. I have just been through this myself. It took me at least three cleaning attempts before I got it right. The pilot hole in particular is tiny and mine was still completely blocked after the first cleaning. I recommend that you check to make sure that everything is open. For example I used a MightyVac attached to the pickup tube to verify that the pilot was blocked, then that I had gotten it clear.

Also, do you have the air box and filter in place? These are necessary fro proper carb operation.

What else have you tried? Can you please give us more details?
It starts up briefly then just stutter and die?
What else have you done? new sparkplug? checked compression?
Have you verified that you have a spark?
