Is it just my filter or does the word screw show as an asterisk to everyone?

I was sending a pm to Bear and the 3 letter word for butt, starting with an "a" and ending in "ss" would show up as an asterisk even in the preview....I even changed the ss to dollar signs, $$, and it STILL took the word out. Super-duper high grade de-cursing program...... :urban:

Yeah, that's new, I populated the word censor last weekend. You can thank Train420/ldrancer for my final motivation on that one.

Leave it to the clever wheeman. I believe there is software that permits you to type upside down. I wonder if It would register...?

probably not, I imagine the script the censor is running has a "list" of words that it checks for in each post submit so that when it detects a word from the list it substitutes said word with an asterik. pretty simple

Yes, it is called turning your monitor over.

The word you said, s c r e w, is what I was talking about. if you leave out the space, it works fine: airscrew, idlescrew, screwin, screwout, screwyschematics
