Pics from my ride today

This is one of the few places I can actually ride to from my house without having to worry about getting run over. It's Bethany Resevoir, about 7 miles from my house.

Something about them man made reservoirs creeps me out .
I'm big into boating and normal lakes are fine .
Other than that it looks like a fun place to ride.

Yeah, something creeps me out too about swimming in water where I can't see my feet.

Haha, my dad always tells me about the lakes and stuff that he used to swim in as a kid, and how nasty they were now that he thinks back. He laughs because he said we don't know how good we have it with the crystal clear blue water out here.

True that on the qaulity water of the lakes, rivers, ect. When I was kid and I lived in PA there were rivers that were brown due to the sulfer from the steel mills. They would just dump it into the rivers. It killed everyhing. I went back to PA in 2005 and everything was cleaned up.
So I guess we are lucky.

Yeah, my dad used to tell me stories about swimming in Lake Erie. Yuck.

I know catfish are pretty common out there and I think blue gill. I've actually never fished there.
