I am too. I don't think this is the kind of guy that would appreciate that humor... I left this out originally but, he is in the town over from me and when I pulled up he was loitering in his detached garage with a friend, I walked over and no question they were smoking a joint. There is a old gmc jimmy in the drive way with a trailer overloaded with ATVs and dirt bikes. Neighborhood kids are flowing in and out and giving their two cents on the transaction. One suggested we put 'knobbies' on it and take it in the woods through the mud. His friend was actually helping me telling him to lower the price(must have been the weed talking)!
He says he got the scooter as part of a trade transaction with his wife's cousin earlier in the month, so I figure any money he gets for it is money in his pocket as he does not really want it himself.
This is what I am negotiating with, dont get me wrong he seems like a nice guy and I dont think he is trying to pull something over on me. He said it himself, he has been at the house 25 years and he is not moving. I was going to go back at him with that type of strategy, how expensive it is to get it running right. I made up a list of all the parts with some ebay and dealer prices for the stuff to get it to pass inspection and then to make it whole.
