Jiangwayne Racing Pipe for 60-90cc Suggestions

Thanks to everyone's help my 2000 honda elite sr50 is now running like a champ
The elite has a 72cc polini contesta kit, 1000 center spring, oko variator, uni air filter, 8:44 gears
Im looking to further increase the performance of my scooter with a performance pipe
i seen this expansion champer pipe on jiangwayne's website and wanted to know if anyone had any suggestions
it says its good for 60 to 90cc

are you looking for pure power or kind of quite?
pure power and cheap pipe would be a PG long
the PG section/v8/sef black would be a quite performance pipe. but even a PG long with an air box would be kinda quite for a 2 stroke... i've never ran that chamber pipe but i think there is a reason for that...

Looking for a pipe that will make the most power with my set-up.... i realize i'll probably need a carb and intake in the future also, but my 19mm seems to be sufficient for now

and my guess is that camber pipe is more than likely just a cheap one, but one would think it would be better than stock right? or maybe not?

That pipe will foul the right rear signal housing if run as is. It can be cut toward the back and rotated 45 degrees and re-welded or you could consider a Japan tail from DayWot. The pipe is pretty loud - louder than a PG Long when the PG's new anyway. Its performance wasn't as good as the PG's either.

Definitely faster than a stock pipe, but like wheelman said it won't clear your turn signal. I like the performance, although I've never used a PG long on my setup so no comparisons there.

For the price, I like this pipe, other than the panel/turn signal clearance issues. I wouldn't run it on a stock carb though, very hi flow

Drop a dime on the 808 number for VTCycles (593-7733). Last time I checked, Steve would get a PG Long shipped out for around $150. Mine arrived about the time I hung up the phone. They evidently could use the encouragement right now, and offer package pricing if you buy more stuff.

JiangWayne isn't the best customer-service outfit I've encountered, and coming from BC Canada there's a bit of a delay. You also run the risk of Customs dinging you for that price difference, although it doesn't always happen.

This would be a good time to Buy American Taiwanese stuff.

I wouldn't buy a pack of smokes from those * idiots. They sold me a pipe which the claimed would fit on my 93 Elite SR. It's didn't, now we're battling over the return.

that being said, I have a never-used 1830A-GW0-0020 I'll sell ya for $50 + shipping.

That's the LeoVince lookalike, right? Should be a good match for Cortessa build. The caption that appears in Bold was probably put in after your ordeal. Pretty good deal, Dawg! For the record, JW doesn't appear to know there were two U.S. generations of "SA50". It should fit the '94-later cylinders, but of course it doesn't fit the earlier SE/05-engined SA50s like JM's.
