1986 Honda Gyro rebuild #2

Post by chevyguyjay »

ok so i found a gyro on craigslist yesterday. i called my buddy dan up and told him about it. well, for the price i think he made out ok. its got potential. mine looked worse than this one. he was asking $300 for it. forgot exactly what dan ended up paying for it. he dropped it off about an hour ago and took a couple pix. notice the 84 muffler?! waiting on dan to come back by so we can give this one a name. not sure what his plans are for it just yet. possibly a different color. lol i noticed the rear Goodyear tires. were going to need parts, so i will post what we need once we start digging in to it we will post what we need. enjoy. :naughty:

Nice project. For a minute there I thought it had been ridden through wet concrete, then I realized that's snow..

Forget Ebay ...
I called cheap cycle parts . It was $4.00 something & change ... But $10.00 bucks shipping .
Call your local HONDA dealer if they dont have it they can still get it ...w/ shipping it should cost around $5 or 6 bucks .
It was a common Air filter ....
