I had 43 without the vari when i get a camera i will post some pics 2 make u all happy the rear pulley does work alltho not as good as the larger pulley but it works i had a new centre spring made 4 $20 with less tention than stock im running a wider belt and using 12g rollers and a dj1 af05e crank not the spree crank and yes that crank does not fit unless u hav the case machined 2 suit the crank also needed another alloy base gasket made 4 the jug is it really that hard 2 belive that this works and yes the cover does not fit i hav cut 2 covers in half the spree case inside edge 4 the bolt holes and the dj1 cover 4 the outside then welded them 2gether with a step up between them this is proveing 2 b the biggest issue as im still trying 2 get it right so the kick start works

I never said "impossible", I said more trouble than it is worth and economically not worth the effort (Taz dropping the project proves the latter). You act like you are serious and don't get * and I won't either. But I do however require some sort of evidence, either collaboration from someone else or at least pics.

Chances are that the reason the pics are not to be shared are that the scooter belongs someone else or the secrecy would be unnecessary. With the lack of real knowledge he has displayed I doubt very much he know how to change the spark plug.

Your kidding right. Americans are not stupid. Some Americans are but it is no different than any other country.

I do not use American engineers when designing parts so are the Japanese stupid also? I don't think so. There are to many obsticles on making a spree variater from the investment side of things. It can be done but the cost is to high from a production standpoint. New design and new molds would easily cost easily over 10,000usd. It is just not worth it. I think once the expansion chamber muffler comes out and then I get an intake manifold adapter made we will see the spree screaming like a rapped ape.

ae86guy I got no beef with you. Just post a few pics for us to see. I am glad you are experimenting. Did you see the other spree variator using the yami parts?
