I saw the light!!!

I saw the light!!!
Last week my little spree started up and would die quickly which led me to the carb for cleaning. I soaked the carb for three days in carb spray and still had a clogged idle jet. Looking down the brass tube, I noticed the hole was too small for a #13 guitar string. I purchased a #8 for 89cents, inserted it down the tube and removed the clog. Voila!!! I assumed it might have been a piece of rust. If you ever go by a music store, buy a #8 guitar string...you might just need it someday

Re: I saw the light!!!
That's a really good photo of the pilot - and your thumb
Thanks
1) What's your photo setup?
2) Is the light that clear to the naked eye?
Thanks - mousewheels
I plan to update the carb cleaning topics with the 'seen the light'. Have seen it too, and have a setup I use, but are curious to find what others are finding.
My setup is *the hammer*, Blast with light, and go with it
For anyone out there - here's a bystarter orifice photo for reference:

Re: I saw the light!!!
Mousewheels, I just used a simple Sony W-80 and turned on the close up button and turned off the flash. Sat at my desk with a desk lamp on and moved the camera around very slowly until I was looking down the brass tube thru the LCD and snapped the pic. I had read this message and photo on a previous post from a member. I used a small single cell AA flashlite that's only about 3" long and directed it thru the throttle cable hole. Yes, I could see the light with the naked eye while wearing reading glasses, but only barely. The camera doesn't lie and very easy insurance that it is clean! duck

Re: I saw the light!!!
Thanks - nice writeup, and photos
I am planning on being editor only on the 'seen the light' pics, all credits to the pioneers... CharlotteSpreeRider also has said the light is not easy to see by the naked eye, and my experiments agree, though with enough light down the throttle slide, even a mouse can see it
The camera method posters suggest does add clarity, will post all tips for good shots.

Greetings:
And all props, Dawgs. Never even attempted to capture in a Wheelman "Pic", but knew it could be done. Just not by me.
