help wiring 87 elite engine into 89 frame

I just got everything installed on my engine that i got from bandit. however i noticed the engine doesnt plug into the frames plug. so, what wires go where?

Are the wire colors the same?

i would think all the colors should be the same. Get some crimp on barrel connectors and make the necassary changes
