SO..has it been done and is it possible...

84 elite 125 motor into a 86 spree...do-able?

Isn't the 84 elite water cooled?

Sounds like alot of work......But it would probably be nuts. :crazy:

If your going to do that, you may as well use a CH150 engine since they are the same size outside.

Coming from someone that has taken apart a few Elite 150's, i dont think the spree has enough frame to hold all the crap that engine needs.

ahhh ok, well only reason i thought of this is cuz supposedly the elite i found has title but its not in the guys name..
so i might have to do the impound deal to get it re titled in my name..

anythings possible. If your a good fabricator/welder you could try it. I doubt the rear plastics would fit on it


if you don't want all the headaches though, just get the stuff for a dio swap.

That would be alot easier to do. the ch80 frame is way bigger and the mounts are very simular.

I did CH150 in the 80 frame. I plan to do CH150 on a Spree this summer if I can find a donor Spree. Only catch is, sacrifice rear panels...
